C.M. Boston Cote is a Texas board-certified attorney in immigration law and nationality law at the Texas-based law firm CG Legal. In both 2016 and 2017, The American Institute of Legal Counsel awarded her with the 10 Best award for “exceptional and outstanding client service.”
Ms. Cote was born the daughter of a South American immigrant and was raised bilingual in English and Spanish. Growing up, she saw the challenges that her own aunts, uncles, and cousins had faced when they came to this county wanting to obtain their own legal status.
In high school, Ms. Cote began volunteering, working with immigrant communities in her hometown. Over time, these experiences accumulated and in college at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. There, Ms. Cote realized there was a career custom-made for people who had the skill, willingness, and dedication to defend those seeking a better life in America. Immigration law was the natural next step.
